Alexander Bekker joined the Firm as an associate in 2018. Mr. Bekker specializes in representing homeowner and community associations throughout Florida in construction defect litigation and contract disputes. He has effectively advocated on behalf of condominium associations, homeowner associations, and other community associations by defending the objectives of directors and managers. Mr. Bekker also practices in the areas of premises liability, motor vehicle liability, commercial vehicle liability, and personal injury, along with other general liability matters.
Prior to joining Callahan & Fusco, Mr. Bekker was an Assistant Public Defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida. Mr. Bekker gained invaluable experience litigating criminal matters on behalf of clients in the Broward community. Further, he has extensive experience conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, conducting voir dire, and presenting persuasive arguments at trial.
While in law school, Mr. Bekker was also a law clerk at a prominent plaintiff's litigation firm, working on personal injury cases. Additionally, while in law school, he was a competing member of the Nova Trial Association, travelling throughout the State of Florida and parts of the U.S. to compete among the best student advocates in the country.
