Briana Prieto is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale, FL office of Callahan & Fusco. Ms. Prieto focuses her practice primarily on personal injury, motor vehicle liability, commercial vehicle liability, premises liability, and other general liability defense matters throughout Florida.
Prior to joining Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Prieto was an associate at a large personal injury protection (PIP) law firm. During that time, she aggressively litigated hundreds of claims recovering money on behalf of medical providers for overdue PIP benefits which were denied or reduced by automobile insurance companies.
Ms. Prieto received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, with a concentration in Health Law in 2018 from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Prieto served as the Student Chapter President of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA). Also throughout law school, Ms. Prieto served as a law clerk; first at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm for over a year and subsequently at a civil defense firm for over a year.
