Christopher L. Parisi has been an associate at the Firm since 2016, specializing in the areas of: general liability, construction accident, construction defect, labor law, negligence, personal injury defense, wrongful death, premises and homeowners’ liability, appellate practice, property damage, medical malpractice, subrogation, motor vehicle and commercial trucking, product liability, Constitutional law, and municipal liability. He has successfully defended numerous individuals, corporations, homeowners’ associations, religious organizations, and municipal entities in the State and Federal Courts of New York and New Jersey.
In his practice, Mr. Parisi has prepared and won summary judgment motions, negotiated settlement agreements, and has conducted all aspects of litigation, including: depositions, discovery, complex investigations, and expert witness preparation for liability and damages defenses. He has represented the interests of his clients at trials, mediations, and arbitrations. In 2017, Mr. Parisi prepared, argued, and won a summary judgment motion on behalf of a homeowners’ association and property manager in a negligence case involving an alleged slip and fall upon snow and ice. Additionally, he has defended cases involving issues of: security liability, commercial contract litigation, school liability, food service/restaurant liability, civil rights, pet/animal liability, and public transit system liability.
During law school, Mr. Parisi was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable John J. Langan, Jr., J.S.C, of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Bergen County. From 2013 until 2015, he was associated with a Manhattan-based defense firm, and from 2015 until 2016, he was associated with a New Jersey-based defense firm.
