Johan A. Obregon, has been associated at the Firm since 2015. His practice is focused primarily on insurance defense litigation in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, casualty litigation, transportation, construction, commercial, and other general liability issues. In his practice, Mr. Obregon has successfully defended the interest of a number of individual and corporate clients in the State Courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as Federal Court.
Before joining Callahan & Fusco, from 2010 to 2012, Mr. Obregon was an associate with the New York firm Furey, Kerley, Walsh, Matera & Cinquemani, P.C., where he specialized in medical malpractice, premise liability and general civil litigation. Mr. Obregon conducted numerous depositions, prepared and argued summary judgment motions, and conducted settlement negotiations. From 2012 to 2013, Mr. Obregon was associated with the New Jersey firm Montgomery, Chapin & Fetten, P.C., where he handled matters in consumer fraud, employment law, complex construction litigation, automobile liability and premises liability in both State and Federal Court. At Montgomery Chapin, Mr. Obregon gained trial experience in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Thereafter, from 2013 to 2015, Mr. Obregon was an associate with the New York City firm Wade Clark Mulcahy where he handled a variety of general liability claims, including premise liability, labor law, and construction defect matters.
