Katlyn Q. Ryan has been an associate at the Firm since 2013 and has focused her practice in the area of special education law. Ms. Ryan represents families on behalf of their children with disabilities in administrative and federal court.
While in law school, Ms. Ryan gained extensive knowledge of New Jersey Civil Practice while completing her externship with the City of Newark – Department of Law – Civil Litigation Division. Ms. Ryan also interned with New Jersey Superior Court – Civil Division – Family Part expanding her experience with New Jersey Judicial process. Ms. Ryan was a summer associate with Whitman, Breed, Abbott & Morgan, LLC gaining exposure to several practice areas such as employment, intellectual property, trusts and estates, real estate and land use, construction, and personal injury.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ryan was a paralegal for three years with Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch, P.C., a Washington D.C. based employment law firm. Ms. Ryan worked alongside partners and associates on significant employment and labor law matters in the public and private sectors.
