Mr. Reiter became associated with the firm in 2005. In 2007, Mr. Reiter became a member of the firm. Mr. Reiter’s practice concentrates on the defense of the firm’s clients in toxic tort, insurance, transportation, property damage, premises liability, product liability, dram shop, general liability and high-profile tort litigation. Mr. Reiter serves as local New York counsel for a national trucking/freight forwarding company.  Mr. Reiter has successfully tried a number of trials including negligence cases and New York Labor Law lawsuits. 

Prior to joining Callahan & Fusco, from 1992 to 2001, Mr. Reiter was an associate in the New York City firm of Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer LLP where he specialized in complex, multi-party, high exposure property damage/construction matters as well as product liability and high exposure personal injury litigation in both federal and state courts. As a senior associate at the firm, Mr. Reiter successfully tried to conclusion several jury trials involving premises liability, automobile negligence and Labor Law/Construction related matters.

From March, 2001 to July, 2005, Mr. Reiter was a senior associate in the firm of Silverstein & Hurwitz, P.C., where he was responsible for the handling of mass toxic tort and environmental exposure matters, complex property damage actions, civil rights violations matters and general negligence cases. With Silverstein & Hurwitz, P.C., Mr. Reiter successfully defended the interests of a national chemical manufacturer in the nationwide semi-conductor “clean room” toxic tort litigation. Additionally, Mr. Reiter tried to conclusion several jury trials involving automobile negligence matters.
