Geovanna Sotelo is an Associate for Callahan & Fusco. She is based in Fort Lauderdale where she currently represents corporations, insurance carriers and their insureds in litigation matters throughout Florida from inception through trial. She specializes in trucking and transportation, premises liability, professional negligence, and commercial matters in claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and substantial monetary and property losses for the firm.

Prior to joining Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Sotelo was an associate at a Fort Lauderdale based insurance defense firm where she specialized in auto negligence, catastrophic loss, wrongful death, and UM/UIM claims for well-known insurance companies and ride-share companies.  

Ms. Sotelo received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. While in law school, she also served as a research assistant for Professor Richard Grosso where she assisted on published articles regarding environmental law, First Amendment issues, and land use and zoning law. She also served as a law clerk for a Pompano Beach based environmental law firm where she specialized in land use, zoning, ocean and coastal law, property rights, and mobile home law. Lastly, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Melinda Brown of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. Prior to law school, Ms. Sotelo received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida.
