Lizaida Guadalupe (“Liz”) is an Associate for Callahan & Fusco and is based in Jacksonville. She currently represents corporations, insurance carriers and their insureds in litigation matters throughout Florida from inception through trial. She specializes in trucking and transportation, premises liability, professional negligence, and commercial matters in claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and substantial monetary and property losses.

Ms. Guadalupe gained her initial legal and trial experience working as an Assistant State Attorney at the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando. As a State Prosecutor, she took numerous cases to trial and obtained convictions on behalf of the State of Florida. Since leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. Guadalupe has worked exclusively in civil litigation.

Before joining Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Guadalupe practiced at one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms where she handled auto negligence and other property insurance defense matters including general liability and bad faith disputes. She has also served as second chair in multiple civil jury trials, assisting lead counsel in all phases of the trial, including trial preparation, strategy development and witness examination.

Ms. Guadalupe earned her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law.
