Ben T. Sobel is an Associate at Callahan & Fusco, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis on transportation and insurance defense. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Sobel represents corporate clients, insurance carriers, and self-insured entities in a broad range of litigation matters.

Mr. Sobel is actively involved in all aspects of the litigation process, including motion practice, written discovery, legal research, case analysis, and litigation strategy. Mr. Sobel works closely with clients to evaluate liability and damages, develop practical solutions to complex legal issues, and efficiently manage cases through discovery and dispositive motion practice. His experience has provided him with a strong foundation in defending negligence and transportation-related claims and navigating the procedural and strategic issues that arise throughout litigation.

Before joining Callahan & Fusco, Mr. Sobel gained experience in insurance defense and personal injury litigation, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the civil litigation process and the considerations that influence case evaluation and resolution.

Mr. Sobel earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he studied Advanced Civil Practice under Chief Judge Michael A. Chagares of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. While at Seton Hall, he served on the Executive Board of the Jewish Law Students Association and participated in initiatives promoting professional development, leadership, and community engagement. Mr. Sobel received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Business, from Indiana University Bloomington.
