Kristine DeSoiza is an Associate in Callahan & Fusco’s Florida Office. She focuses her practice on the areas of general negligence, auto & trucking accidents, professional negligence, construction, and various insurance coverage matters. Since 2017, Ms. DeSoiza has litigated numerous complex claims, involving commercial motor vehicles, motor vehicles, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and extracontractual damages, as well as multi-party construction cases and mediations. Ms. DeSoiza is often involved in representing clients in pre-suit matters and claims to develop an early analysis of the issues and disputes, and to develop and implement early resolution strategies and settlement agreements. In addition, she has prior experience representing insurers in bad faith litigation, as well as counseling insurers with respect to first party and third party bad faith claims.

Ms. DeSoiza attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. In 2017, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shephard Broad College of Law, graduating Cum Laude. As a prior Committee Member of the Florida Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, Kristine co-authored the Florida High School Mock Trial and Florida High School Moot Court case programs and assisted with the succeeding statewide competitions. While in law school, Kristine was a teaching and research assistant in Constitutional and International Law and a research assistant in Family and Juvenile Law. She served as President of the NSU Trial Association and was a member and Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review.
