Diana Sun is Senior Counsel at Callahan & Fusco in Ft. Lauderdale. Ms. Sun practices in the areas of trucking and transportation, premises liability, defamation, product liability, mass torts, insurance bad faith, as well as other general liability and coverage litigation matters. Ms. Sun represents insurers and insureds in these matters, many involving catastrophic injuries or wrongful death, from inception through trial.
In addition to her work at Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Sun also serves as a pro bono attorney ad litem in the Miami-Dade dependency court, representing children in need of housing placement, developmental disability care, and medical treatment.
Prior to joining Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Sun worked at a nationwide law firm, where she engaged in third-party insurance defense throughout Florida on behalf of various insurance carriers, national and global companies, and individuals. She also previously worked at a highly recognized boutique insurance coverage firm, where she focused on the areas of third-party insurance defense, insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and appellate practice.
Ms. Sun earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Dean’s List, as well as an Arts & Sciences Scholar. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholar.
Ms. Sun is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in Spanish.
