Alejandra Benjumea is an Associate for Callahan & Fusco and is based in their Fort Lauderdale office. She currently represents Fortune 100 corporations, insurance carriers, and their insureds in litigation matters throughout Florida, from inception through trial. She specializes in trucking and transportation, premises liability, professional negligence, and commercial matters in claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and substantial monetary and property losses. She also has experience providing insurance coverage advice relating to general liability matters, bad faith disputes, and extra-contractual matters.

Ms. Benjumea earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, cum laude, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University, cum laude. During law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review, and served as an advocate for the NSU Trial Association and Moot Court Honor Society.
