Crystal Alonso is a Senior Associate in the Roseland, New Jersey office of Callahan and Fusco. She is admitted to practice in the States of New Jersey, New York and Vermont, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Her practice is devoted to civil ligation and insurance defense. She takes pride in servicing her clients by tending to their needs in an expeditious fashion.

Prior to joining Callahan and Fusco, Ms. Alonso worked for law firms where she acquired extensive experience defending the rights of law enforcement officers, school employees and other public employees. Her work focused on defending against disciplinary charges, tenure charges and other employment-related matters. Additionally, she has successfully represented countless individuals charged with a wide array of criminal offenses. Ms. Alonso has experience in handling civil rights matters and has litigated state claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination and breach of contract.

 While in law school, Ms. Alonso completed an internship with the Office of the New York State Attorney General. She also spent a semester abroad studying international comparative law at McGill University Faculty of Law in Montréal, Québec. Additionally, during her final year of law school, Ms. Alonso worked as a legislative analyst/lobbyist for the Vermont School Boards Association.
