Chelsea S. Novelli is a Senior Associate in the New Jersey and Massachusetts offices of Callahan & Fusco. Ms. Novelli is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York, specializing in premises liability, transportation, construction, and other general liability matters. Throughout her career, she has successfully and effectively represented large trucking companies, independent contractors, small businesses, and community associations in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.
Before joining Callahan & Fusco, Ms. Novelli was an Assistant District Attorney in Boston, Massachusetts where she completed approximately 50 trials including sexual assault, domestic violence, operating under the influence, firearm offenses, and narcotics offenses. Ms. Novelli was responsible for arraignments, pretrial motions, pretrial hearings, and trials.
In her final year of law school, Ms. Novelli practiced as a student prosecutor for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office where she handled motions to suppress, motions to dismiss, discovery obligations, and trials.
While completing her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Novelli worked for the City and County of San Francisco’s Workers’ Compensation Department, where she assisted in investigating complex and fraudulent claims. She also prepared criminal investigations of workers’ compensation fraud for the San Francisco District Attorney’s office.
